E-Z Drill

More than two decades ago, WCCI of Stillwater, OK faced a drilling challenge. As with many other construction companies, WCCI was drilling dowel holes with hand-held rock drills. It was an incredibly slow, labor-intensive process with a significant risk of injury. Unable to find a suitable system, Leon Hake engineered and built a pneumatic drill system to replace the handheld doweling drills. The new automatic system proved itself by increasing productivity and accuracy. Operators found it not only much faster, but dependable, safe, and easy to operate. Shortly thereafter, E-Z Drill, Inc. was established.

What started with a welder and a draftsman grew into a diverse manufacturing business. Now, more than 40 employees occupy a 22,000-square-foot facility in Perry, OK.

The product line continues to grow, as does E-Z Drill's reputation around the world. Quality, dependability and safe operation along with excellent customer support supercedes any language barrier. Today, more than 100 dealers represent E-Z Drill across the globe.

As with most innovative inventions, it all started with a couple of guys and a problem. Their solution has been changing the world of concrete drilling and doweling since 1987.
