Nothing “Little” About Little Apple Project

Manhattan, KS is known as “The Little Apple”, but a runway project at the Manhattan airport was not so little. Pavers, Inc. out of Salina, KS recently built a section of runway that was 3,250’ long. There were three transverse joints that required 3/4″ x 20” bars to be drilled and epoxied. According Neal Saskowksi with Pavers, they had both an E-Z Drill Model 210-3 SRA and Model 210B-2 SRA on the job. They were able to drill 8,775 holes in less than seven days.
